“Large” Week 9 Shutterboo Weekly Photo Challenge

The subject for week 9 of the Shutterboo Weekly Photo Challenge is “Large” which was very appropriate since we had a trip to Houston Texas scheduled.  Its my understanding that everything is “bigger” in Texas so I knew I would be able to find a good shot.

As soon as we entered Hobby Airport it (large) was in my face.  The centerpiece of the airport is anchored by four 8 foot cowboy boots.

Friday afternoon I was walking around with our host from KPRC-TV and taking pictures around downtown and he pointed out the old Enron building in the distance and suggested getting a shot of it.  That was all I needed to hear.  What’s bigger and what fell harder than Enron?  Here is the shot I got and this is what I’m going to use for “Large”.

Here are some of the other shots I got in Houston https://picasaweb.google.com/carsonhbmatthews/HoustonFebTrip2011?feat=directlink
